Fidalgo Island and Inland
Fidalgo Island is just north of Whidbey Island and forms an island bridge to the mainland. Deception Pass State Park spans the adjoining parts of both islands and on the Fidalgo side offers several coves and minor islands in bays. In addition, the City of Anacortes has large community forest lands around Mt. Erie, including Heart Lake. Many of the views are from the Fidalgo Island side of Deception Pass State Park, mainly Lottie Point, Bowman Bay, Pass Island, with cameras, films and shooting notes in the respective captions.
Further afield from home we have waterfalls and streams from the Cascades, from Larrabee and Wallace State Parks as well as Nooksack River, near Mt Baker. The Mount Baker shots are from the Chain lakes Trail about a mile in from Artists' Point.
The final four are from an extreme low tide trip to Rosario Beach with my digital camera under heavy overcast. The three B&Ws are HDR treatments, while the color shot of a sea anemome used a handheld, off-camera flash to bring out the color.

32nd Street Swamp
The 32nd Street Swamp was good location to document our annual "blizzard." The partial ice on the water makes for disjointed reflections that take a moment to understand. I shot 4x5" TriX film in a lightweight field-view camera, allowing me to hike in with reasonable weight.
