Bald’s historische Fahrzeugschau
Rudolf Bald has a lifetime of collected BMW motorcycles on display in Erndtebrueck, north of Frankfurt. Starting with BMW’s first model, the R32 from 1923, up through the 1970s he has a superb selection of about 50 bikes, all in beautiful condition. Included are racing sidecar rigs.
My photographs in this gallery are from 2 days of busy shooting with digi-camera for color and Hasselblad for B&W prints. Herr Bald generously allowed me to shoot as much as I wanted and Frau Bald sent a sandwich with me to make sure I could last as long as needed.
Proceeds from visitors’ donations go to the Children’s Clinic in Siegen. If you will be staying overnight in the area, I recommend staying at Herr Bald’s country inn, the Gasthof Afflerbach-Bald in nearby Zinse.
