Cycles and Cinema
The Deeley Motorcycle Exhibition in Vancouver, B.C. has done it again with a knock-out show of famous motorcycles. "Cycles and Cinema" features replicas or similar models for great movies from the '50s to the present. The captions tell of the movie associations - how many can you guess?
This section of the web site features scans of B&W prints, as well as the digital color shots taken while setting up my lighting. I like both styles, but B&W, shot on film, means more to me. While the color photos are pretty, the B&W prints convey the mechanical magic of these motorcycles and the history associated with them.
It's a great show, and probably up for all of 2014. Consider a trip to Vancouver to see for yourself!
