HockenheimRing
HockenheimRing has been a famous racing location since 1932, both for cars and motorcycles. The storied history of the racetrack is displayed in the museum, with many great machines on view. After you have feasted your eyes on the machinery, cross the road and climb into the stands to watch practice for free (if it’s not an event day).
HockenheimRing is just South from Heidelberg and conveniently close to the Technik Speyer Museum, making Baden-Württemburg a real mecca for mechanical enthusiasts. Get more information at http://www.hockenheimring.de/museum.
My photos here just scratch the surface of the selection, so plan your own trip soon.

Universal with J.A.P. Engine
J.A.P. (John Alfred Prestwich, Ltd.) supplied engines to more than a dozen motorcycle manufacturers. Universal was a Swiss company, most often seen with boxer-style opposed twins or singles. This one is an impressive motorcycle standing out in a row of interesting bikes.
