National Motorcycle Museum
John Parham's vast collection of vintage motorcycles forms the core of the National Motorcycle Museum in Anamosa, Iowa. In addition, other collectors have loaned some of their bikes to the extensive show. My photos here represent just a few of the most interesting, all conveniently posed on viewing stands. The color versions are from the Nikon D850 and the B&W are from the Hasselblad with TriX film. Three to five battery flashes provided the lighting.
The captions are greatly condensed from the extensive signage at the museum, any errors are mine. The museum will close at the end of the 2023 season, so plan to visit soon.

The Super Sport model was guaranteed for 80 mph, probably delivering 32 hp. Matchless supplied the 982 cc engine, built to Brough's specs. The Brough line was the elite of British manufacturing of the time.
